About Feeser Insurance
Service with a smile!
Learn A Little Bit
of our History!
Feeser Insurance began as Feeser & Williams Insurance in August 2001. After original partner Teresa Williams retired to Florida, Heather Feeser took over sole ownership, bringing her dedication and expertise to lead the agency. Today, our team offers over 50 years of combined insurance experience and continues to serve the community with six knowledgeable agents.
Conveniently located at 3123 N. George St., Emigsville, PA, we proudly serve York and the surrounding counties. Our office is easily accessible; just 1 mile from Rt. 30 and I-83, directly across from the Alert Fire Company, making it simple for clients throughout the area to reach us.

Feeser Insurance primarily represents Erie Insurance, offering personal, commercial, and life insurance products. Individuals can access coverage for auto, home, life, umbrella, and recreational vehicles such as boats, ATVs, and motorcycles. Through Erie Insurance, we also provide solutions for small and large businesses. For clients with recent accidents, violations, or claims, we offer a variety of alternative carriers to ensure coverage options for every situation.
What sets Feeser Insurance apart above all is our attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service. Our positive, service-driven atmosphere ensures every client feels valued and supported. Policies are carefully customized to meet the unique needs of clients and their families, and we go above and beyond to celebrate and connect with our community. Clients receive birthday cards and special notes recognizing milestones, illnesses, or important life events. Our agency also actively participates in community events, including Manchester’s Ice Cream Social, local parades, fire hall bingos, fire safety programs, the Young Revs baseball program, and school activities.
We operate five days a week to serve our customers conveniently. And, for many years, “The Boss,” Buddy, was there to greet you from the front window.. or one of his many favorite office spots. Our dedicated team Heather Feeser, Heather Tomer, Justus Feeser, Grace Hall, Jeff Buser and Gary Dedrick all look forward to serving clients for many years to come.
Meet Our Team

In Loving Memory
Buddy “The Dog” Feeser
CCO - Chief Comfort Officer · 2014 – July 15, 2026
If you’ve ever visited our office, chances are you’ve met Buddy. Whether he greeted you at the door, watched you from his favorite bed, or happily accepted a scratch behind the ears, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He wasn’t just our office dog, he was family, and he became part of the Feeser Insurance family for so many of you, too.
On July 15th, 2026, Buddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We’d like to think he’s finally reunited with his grandpa in Heaven, watching over all of us together.
Our office won’t feel quite the same without him. His little paws, wagging tail, and sweet face have been part of our everyday lives for years, and there will always be a space in our hearts where Buddy belongs.
We know many of you loved Buddy and will want to share your condolences. As this loss is still incredibly fresh for our team, we kindly ask that you refrain from discussing his passing with our staff during your visit. Thank you for understanding and giving us a little grace as we navigate saying goodbye to a friend who meant so much to all of us.
If you’d like to honor Buddy, we invite you to stop by and leave a favorite memory, story, or note in the Buddy Memory Box located in our vestibule. Heather and our team will treasure every memory, and we know Buddy’s story will continue to live on through all the lives he touched.
Thank you for loving Buddy over the years. Your kindness, treats, belly rubs, and smiles meant the world to him, and to us.
Remembering Buddy
Buddy “The Dog” Feeser was a beloved office staple from 2014, when Heather and Gary rescued him from Molly’s Rescue, right through to the end, every bit the seasoned professional.
When Buddy first joined the office team, he was full of pep and personality. He greeted every customer who walked through the door, kissed every baby within reach, and happily followed children around the office as their self-appointed tour guide. At lunchtime, Buddy enjoyed his own seat at the table, where Heather would occasionally feed him from her plate with a fork. (Spoiled? Just a little.)
In his later years, Buddy gracefully embraced his senior status. With a distinguished gray muzzle and a slower pace, he spent much of his time snoozing in one of the five cushy beds tucked beneath office desks. He still greeted visitors when he felt like it, and could usually be found under his mom’s desk or lounging in his favorite bed by the window.
Though he grew less enthusiastic about wardrobe changes over the years, Buddy modeled outfits and posed for billboards to support the family business. His cooperation may have declined with age, but his tenure always ensured job security!
One thing is certain: the office would never have been the same without Buddy’s loyal presence all those years, and he will always be an irreplaceable part of the Feeser family.

Heather Feeser
The insurance “bug” bit Heather Feeser early – at just 14 years old, when she began filing paperwork and taking payments at the insurance agency where her mother worked. What started as an after-school job quickly became a lifelong passion and career path.
During her senior year of high school, Heather accepted a position as a telemarketer with a thriving insurance agency, where she later earned her insurance license. She often reflects on how the agency owner mentored her, teaching her the importance of professional organization and treating every client with care and respect. The professional relationship grew into a lasting friendship with the owner and his family – one she maintains to this day.
Heather continued her education in the business program at PSU before spending time traveling and working as an agent in Maryland and New Hampshire. She later served as a district manager for a large insurance carrier in Pennsylvania. While visiting one of the agencies she managed, she formed a friendship with Teresa Williams – a connection that sparked the vision for their own agency.
In August 2001, Feeser & Williams Insurance opened its doors. In 2014, following Teresa’s retirement, Heather became sole proprietor and rebranded the business as Feeser Insurance Inc. Continuing her growth and commitment to service, Heather expanded again in 2023 by acquiring an Erie Insurance agent’s book of business, warmly welcoming those clients and pledging to provide the same exceptional service they were accustomed to receiving.
Heather runs her agency with determination and grit. She firmly believes that when obstacles arise, you either go through them or around them, but you never give up. When challenges present themselves, she seeks the best solution and moves forward full force.
Though highly professional and driven, Heather also believes work should be enjoyable. From creative marketing campaigns and eye-catching billboards to festive office decorations and themed staff attire, she fosters a workplace culture that balances excellence with energy. Her marketing creativity has even led to invitations to share ideas with new Erie agents.
As the business has grown, free time has become limited, but when she finds it, Heather loves being in the sun and on the water, crafting, and planning events – a talent that comes naturally to her.
It’s not unusual to find clients sitting in Heather’s office chatting about their families and life updates. She is known as a thoughtful listener who pays attention to details so she can match clients with the insurance products that best meet their needs. Down-to-earth and genuinely friendly, Heather embodies the agency’s motto: “Service with a smile!”
The Agency: Heather Feeser – Owner & Independent Insurance Agent
Heather Feeser (along with her “silent partner,” Buddy “the Dog” Feeser, as many believe!) proudly owns and operates Feeser Insurance, located in Emigsville, PA. Originally established in 2001 as Feeser & Williams Insurance and Notary Inc. alongside co-creator and now-retired Teresa Williams, the agency began as a true “scratch” operation – built from zero clients into what became a thriving local insurance, notary, and tag/title business. As the insurance client base steadily grew, Heather, now sole owner, strategically refined the agency’s focus to specialize exclusively in insurance services through her independent partnership with Erie Insurance.
What Sets Feeser Insurance Apart
At the heart of the agency is an unwavering commitment to attention to detail and exceptional customer service. The long-standing motto, “Service with a smile!”, isn’t just a slogan – it’s a daily standard. Heather firmly believes every client deserves personalized service delivered by the agency’s signature personal touch.
Once proudly known as an all-woman crew (not counting the four-pawed team members!), the agency now includes six licensed agents, two of whom are men, bringing together more than 50 years of combined insurance experience. Feeser Insurance provides personal lines coverage including auto, home, and life insurance, as well as commercial business insurance. For clients who may have experienced recent accidents, violations, or claims, the agency also works with alternative carriers such as Progressive Corporation and Foremost Insurance Group to ensure flexible options are available.
Community Commitment
Beyond business, Heather has always prioritized giving back to the local community. Agency involvement has included Thanksgiving and Christmas food outreach, participation in the Manchester Ice Cream Social, local parades, basket bingos, fire safety programs, and sports sponsorships including the York Revolution (Young Revs) and Northeastern School District programs. The agency has supported charitable rides for the York Motorcycle Club and partnered with local law enforcement for child fingerprinting safety initiatives. Heather has also personally invested in empowering young women through skill-building programs with Junior Achievement.
Creative & “Wacky” Marketing
Feeser Insurance is well known for its playful and creative marketing efforts. Over the years, parking lot signs have featured catchy phrases like, “Race in for a great rate, BUT DON’T SPEED!” and billboards aimed at the local hunting community declaring, “Save a buck with Feeser Insurance!”
In short, Heather and her team genuinely love what they do. They value their coworkers, appreciate their clients, and remain committed to serving Emigsville and the greater York community for many years to come.
And when you walk through the doors of Feeser Insurance, their goal is simple: You leave with excellent coverage and a smile on your face.

Michelle Wiley
After 20 years at Feeser Insurance, Michelle Wiley has hung up the office phone to connect with nature, inner peace, and the joy of quiet moments. Effective June 1, Michelle transitioned into retirement. For 20 years she was the backbone of Feeser Insurance. Her knowledge and expertise are second to none! Michelle is loved and respected by her clients and most importantly by her work family. She deeply touched our lives. She’s been more than a colleague. She’s been our maitri: a source of kindness, calm, and quiet strength. Michelle’s compassion, patience, and wisdom have made a lasting impact, and her presence has been a gift to us all. Though she is stepping into a new chapter, her spirit will stay with us, in every act of care and kindness we carry forward. Thank you, Michelle. You will always be in our hearts…Life without love, is like a tree without leaves.

Heather Tomer
Nicknamed “Ducky” by the office crew (because nothing ever seems to ruffle her feathers), she’s the calm in the chaos presence everyone hopes for when things get hectic. Problems may fly in fast, but she’s known for letting them roll off her back while she figures out how to fix them.
She joined the agency in 2024, licensed since 2022, after working for a large national insurance company in an online setting. While that role gave her a strong foundation, she was ready to trade screens for real conversations and become part of a team environment. It didn’t take long for her position to grow from agent to administrator/operations manager and unofficial “Chaos Coordinator” thanks to her knack for jumping in wherever help is needed, untangling the unexpected, and making things run smoother.
Around the office, she’s also known as the unofficial Tech Whisperer. Locked out of a program? File vanished into the abyss? New system making zero sense? She’s the one people call. She works closely with the agency’s IT partners, troubleshoots just about anything computer-related, and translates “tech speak” into plain English for the rest of the team.
She works side by side with Heather Feeser to turn ideas into action; helping build processes, improve workflows, and support the agency’s growth. While you may not always see her, that’s because she’s often in “stealth mode,” working behind the scenes to solve tricky client issues, untangle billing questions, and tracking down answers. She genuinely enjoys a good challenge and takes pride in finding solutions that work for everyone involved.
Outside the office, she lives in Etters and is a busy, hands-on mom of four. Much of her free time is spent cheering from the sidelines at wrestling, football, and lacrosse games. When she’s not in full sports-mom mode, you’ll likely find her in her garden or tending to her wide variety of house plants both at home and in her office. Her green thumb is so reliable that she’s become the office’s resident Plant Doctor regularly rescuing coworkers’ “definitely dead” plants and bringing them back to life.

Justus Feeser
Justus Feeser, the nephew of owner Heather Feeser, started helping in the office by sending out office birthday cards for clients back in 2021. He, like Grace, intends to make the insurance industry his lifelong career goal.
Business-minded from an early age, Justus attended Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia, majoring in business. After completing two years of college, he transitioned to working full-time for the agency in May 2025. Now a fully licensed agent, Justus is learning the business from the ground up. He currently serves in customer service, making him the friendly first point of contact for phone calls, walk-in customers, payments, and policy servicing. He is gaining firsthand experience in what it takes not just to work in insurance but to one day run the Feeser agency himself.
While many in the office enjoy watching sports, Justus prefers being in the game. A dedicated athlete, he loves all sports, but baseball is his true passion. In 2021, he was recruited to play for the York Revolution (Young Revs) right here in York and even earned a baseball scholarship for his athletic talent.
Currently residing in Hanover with his parents, two cats, and a dog, Justus spends his spare time playing pickleball, drawing, and, of course, spending time with his cats.
With his strong work ethic, athletic drive, and commitment to learning the business inside and out, Justus represents the future of Feeser Insurance.

Gary Dedrick
Gary Dedrick, Heather’s husband of 14 years, proudly serves as our office “Guy Friday” – the go-to person for just about every odd job, project, and last-minute request that keeps things running smoothly. If something needs fixed, cleaned, delivered, mowed, carried, set up, torn down, or handled, Gary is already halfway through it before anyone else finds the toolbox.
In addition to his full-time job, Gary is our main maintenance man for both the office building and the grounds. Around here, you might spot him handling banking errands, taking house photos, preparing commercial mailings, mowing and maintaining the lawn, or tackling interior and exterior building repairs. Customers regularly see him vacuuming, dusting, or washing windows because Gary believes a clean office is a happy office. (The crew jokingly refers to him as Heather’s “wife” thanks to his legendary attention to cleanliness!)
Gary is also a good sport when it comes to promoting the business. He has proudly strutted out front in a pig costume to promote a local fire company fundraiser, dressed up for holiday celebrations with the team, and has even been seen sporting a full elf costume in public – tights, elf shoes, and all. When it’s time for community events like the ice cream social, Gary is the first to volunteer to help set up, tear down, or do whatever needs done.
A friendly word of warning: Gary is vocal, outspoken, and will absolutely “tell it like he sees it.” He doesn’t sugarcoat and isn’t known for being politically correct. As Heather likes to say, “Gary has no filter.” But behind that unfiltered honesty is a genuinely kind heart. He’s always willing to lend a hand, treat our clients with respect, and keep everyone entertained, even if a colorful word slips out now and then.
Simply put, Gary is one of a kind, hardworking, dependable, and an essential part of our office family.

Grace Hall
Grace Hall is one of the younger office members at 21 years, but don’t let her youthfulness fool you. She is an agent licensed in personal and commercial lines but is also works the “customer service hub” of the agency at the front desk. This means she’s fast, efficient and able to multi-task “faster than the speed of light!”.
In 2023 while she was still in high school working part time for her uncle at his agency, Grace decided insurance would be the lifelong career for her! She obtained her personal and commercial insurance license in 2024 and has been working with Erie Insurance ever since. When her uncle decided to sell his business, she joined the Feeser crew because the Feeser agency felt like family to her!
Grace brings passion to the way she does her job. Always is enthusiastic to update her skills and learn new information about the products available to the client, eager to service new clients and is the office go-to for commercial certificates of insurance, which definitely are a challenge!
Time at home is spent at her home in Dover with her domestic partner and his 5-1/2 year-old son whom she adores! She loves a good thriller or romance novel. Other hobbies include hiking, binge watching her favorite shows like Homeland and learning to cook and bake new things!

Jeff Buser
The thing that stands out most about Jeff when you meet him is that he is undeniably a family man. He loves his at-home family, his work family, and treats his clients as if they were his own family.
When he started with Feeser Insurance as an agent in 2025, he entered the all-female work environment with ease! He became the first male agent of the crew but had no problem fitting in as he was already part of an all-girl crew at home…wife, Kristi, 3 grown daughters and even their dog was a girl. Jeff brought 7 years of insurance experience from a very large national company. He has his insurance licenses not only in personal lines, but also in the life and health categories as well as in PA & MD.
What drew Jeff to sign on with Feeser Insurance was that our agency was well established…going over 24 years strong at that time, and also that he felt very comfortable with owner Heather and he liked the relaxed family environment of the office. He also loves his co-workers as they all work together to help each other just like family!
In 1987, at a very young age of 14, he was influenced by his father to join the Lincolnway Fire Co. Jeff grew to love the fire company so much that he served there for 16 years through the ranks of Jr. Firefighter to Asst. Chief until he stepped down in 2000 to raise his own family. Jeff still attends fire company fundraisers and reunions. He brings his firefighting knowledge and expertise to the agency when reviewing fire claims reported on homes we insure.
Jeff is hard wired to cross sell home-auto-life…it’s second nature to him. He said one of the main goals he sets when providing policies for clients is to make the product understandable to them so they can make the wisest choices when choosing their insurance needs. He takes care of the client just like family!
On a more personal note, Jeff loves Mt. Dew so much, teammates sometimes call him “Mt. Dew guy”! For fun, he enjoys sports… football, baseball and basketball…he follows the Denver Broncos. On his office bookshelves you’ll find firefighting and sports memorabilia along with photos of his family!

Buddy
The Elf
Buddy the Elf is our full life-size, motion-sensitive holiday ambassador and part-time professional jump-scare specialist. Best known for loudly greeting unsuspecting passersby, Buddy proudly upholds his mission of spreading Christmas cheer, whether you’re ready for it or not.
Imported directly from the North Pole (or at least inspired by the movie), Buddy spends the holiday season hanging out in our office, delighting some, startling others, and fully committing to the elf lifestyle. When activated, he shares festive phrases guaranteed to either warm your heart or “scare the living daylights” out of you.
Buddy is loved by Heather and Gary, our resident Elf super-fans and hosts of the legendary annual Elf party – a festive gathering featuring costumes, food, movie watching, games, and karaoke. While Buddy considers himself the unofficial guest of honor, staff consensus has determined that he functions best as a seasonal employee.
After multiple reports of unexpected shrieks from coworkers and customers alike, Buddy now enjoys a well-earned off-season break once the holidays conclude.
Favorite things include:
- Christmas decorations
- Spreading cheer
- Startling humans
- Being the center of attention
The best way to spread Christmas cheer? Just walk past him.
DISCLAIMER: Buddy the Elf has not obtained his insurance license yet so is not an agent. Therefore, he cannot sell and/or service policies at this time!
